Tania (a.k.a. monkey, Big-T, twinkle-toes) was raised first by Australians, then by wolves, and finally by hippies. In the end, the wolves did the most commendable job, adequately preparing her for life among the ravenous blue-bloods of Yale University. While in school, she enjoyed drinking Cosmopolitans, dating hipsters, and grinding her teeth. This rarefied skill-set left her perfectly suited for one of two jobs upon graduation: interior design in Seattle or marketing in Austin. So she moved to Seattle. And then to Austin. She acquired a dog, which she named after the most frequently prescribed anti-psychotic medication in the U.S. (a.k.a Risperdal®, Riz, and the Dog Most in Need of Frequently-Prescribed Anti-psychotic Medication). Now she makes nice in Austin with her pedigreed husband Jeff (selected for his proud hindquarters) and their lovely spawn, Norah Penelope (a.k.a. penny-loaf, the bean, the kneazle), to whom she sings Slavic lullabies. She also spends every free second knitting.
